As a Sr Audio Embedded Software Engineer you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of product development:nnCollaborate with marketing and cross-functional engineering teams to define product features and requirementsnPlay a lead role in defining system architecture to implement new product and product features Design implement debug and test embedded C/C code running on 16-bit 32-bit and 64-bit MCUs for Apple-branded audio productsnOptimize code in order to fit within tight memory constraints; support electrical bring-up and debug of prototype hardwarenWork with internal teams and external contract manufacturers to bring products to mass productionnCollaborate with software teams to define communication protocolsnEnable expansion of our product ecosystem features through creation of test toolsn

5 years experience developing embedded firmwarenExperience with MCUs multi-core peripherals clocking features and development environmentsnExperience with board bring-up and digital hardwarenAbility to design and integrate code into a shipping productnDemonstrate solid C/C coding abilitiesnStrong electrical system and software debugging skillsnAbility to read serial bus traces board schematics use an oscilloscope and logic analyzernExperience with RTOS embedded development and preemptive multithreaded programmingnBS or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experiencen
