Attack Systems Engineering Manager

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to join our Attack Program team in Mesa AZ.

Join us and you will have the unique opportunity to provide Systems Engineering support to the Apache AH-64 and AH-6 Little Bird programs as well as to IWA programs.

We are looking for a Proven Leader to manage a team of employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering for Attack Programs including IWA support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of employees performing Engineering and Technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.

• Develop and execute project and process plans.

• Implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.

• Acquire resources for projects and processes.

• Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.

• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.

• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.

• Manage develop and motivate employees.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 years experience leading projects or teams

• 5 years experience working in an Engineering discipline.

• External candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience).

• Internal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Systems Engineering & Analysis

• Experience with Requirements Management

• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
