Position Summary:

Bethel University Athletics is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to serve as Athletics Facilities & Grounds Associates during the summer months. This position assists with the care maintenance and preparation of athletic facilities and outdoor competition surfaces to support a safe clean and championship-level environment for student-athletes camps and university events.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with mowing lining grooming and general maintenance of athletic fields and grounds
• Prepare athletic facilities for practices camps and special events
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of indoor and outdoor athletic spaces
• Assist with painting landscaping trash removal and minor repair projects
• Operate basic groundskeeping and maintenance equipment safely and responsibly
• Support event setup and breakdown as needed
• Maintain a professional and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current college enrollment preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous groundskeeping landscaping or facilities experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

This is a seasonal hourly position that may include early mornings evenings and occasional weekends based on departmental needs.
