Athletic Trainer

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide per diem athletic training coverage as needed to support team operations and athlete care
• Perform comprehensive injury assessments and evaluations using appropriate clinical examination techniques
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes
• Provide immediate emergency medical care and injury management in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with team physicians coaching staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal athlete health and safety
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation for all athlete evaluations and treatments
• Design and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning protocols to enhance athlete performance and reduce injury risk
• Educate athletes on proper injury prevention techniques recovery strategies and return-to-play guidelines
• Manage athletic training equipment supplies and facilities to ensure they meet safety and operational standards
• Monitor athlete health status and provide ongoing support during practices competitions and team events
• Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations HIPAA requirements and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with athletes coaching staff and medical personnel regarding injury status and treatment progress

Qualifications :

**Required:**

• Current Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) license in Pennsylvania
• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited Athletic Training program
• Current CPR/AED certification and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of injury assessment treatment and rehabilitation protocols
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
