Position Summary:Assist in evaluation and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Works under the direction of a Sports Medicine Physician. Assesses patients to determine therapy needs and modifications in consultation and under the direction of the physician.

Essential Job Functions:Assists with appropriate documentation and clinic note completion. Performs casting bracing splinting. Assist with procedures. Assist with preauthorizations. Educates patients on rehabilitation programs and therapeutic exercises. Monitors patients response to treatment. Attend to patient questions and messages to the physician. Returning phone calls to relay messages from the physician to the patient. Coordination with other providers and clinical staff.

Qualifications:Licensed in the state of Utah as an Athletic Trainer. Current BLS. Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or related field masters degree preferred. Excellent communication skills Able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients as necessary. Able to bend lift and carry supplies and equipment. Able to assist patients with ambulation.
