Associate/Analyst DC Waste

The DC Waste Analyst FF/3PL is a specialized version of the DC Waste Analyst role focused on waste identification and mitigation within Factors fulfillment and third-party logistics network. Rather than a single DC floor youll work across external fulfillment and 3PL sites monitoring inventory utilization flagging at-risk product and partnering with 3PL operators to reduce waste before it occurs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory positions and product utilization across FF and 3PL partner sites to identify waste risk in real time
• Coordinate with 3PL operators and Factors internal logistics team to intervene on at-risk inventory including near-expiry product excess stock and slow-moving SKUs
• Track and document waste events across the FF/3PL network including root cause and resolution
• Support waste projection modeling by providing accurate timely data on inventory status across external sites
• Analyze cross-site waste trends within the FF/3PL network and surface patterns to the Waste Manager
• Maintain inventory data accuracy for FF/3PL positions in ERP/WMS systems; flag discrepancies promptly
• Partner with the 3PL Strategy team and DC Waste Manager on network-level waste reduction initiatives
• Contribute to regular waste reporting cadences with data from FF and 3PL locations

Required Qualifications

• 2 years in supply chain operations inventory management or logistics preferably with exposure to 3PL or external fulfillment environments
• Comfort navigating external partner relationships and working in settings without direct site authority
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and inventory reporting tools
• Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and inventory control principles
• Bachelors degree in supply chain Business Logistics or a related field preferred
