Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations diagnostics and treatment planning for companion animals

• Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions

• Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures as appropriate

• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations to pet owners

• Utilize diagnostic imaging laboratory testing and other medical technologies to support patient care

• Educate clients on preventive medicine wellness care and treatment options

• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care

• Uphold medical standards and best practices while promoting a positive client experience

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

• Active veterinary license or ability to obtain licensure

• Strong medical surgical and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities

• Commitment to high-quality evidence-based medicine
