The Supplier Enablement & Onboarding Specialist maintains vendor master data and drives supplier enablement processes within the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) Operations team. In this role the individual reviews requests to add and modify supplier profiles in the vendor master while ensuring team metrics are consistently met or exceeded. Additionally the Specialist supports operational excellence by identifying and driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Onboarding & Maintenance: Review validate and process requests to add or modify supplier information in the vendor master database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Compliance & Research: Perform required compliance vetting (e.g. tax sanction and risk checks) and conduct payables or vendor-related research.

• Supplier Enablement: Provide high-touch support to enable suppliers on procurement platforms specifically Coupa.

• Process Innovation: Act as a change agent by challenging the status quo disrupting inefficient processes and leading process improvement initiatives within the ESM Ops value stream.

• Problem Solving: Identify innovative solutions to resolve complex system and operational challenges across multiple platforms.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal customers vendors and cross-functional leadership to inform and influence positive outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Customer Service

• At least 1 year of experience with Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience in Corporate Procurement or Supply Chain Ops

• 1 years of experience with Enterprise Financial and Procurement systems (e.g. Coupa PeopleSoft)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a track record of building positive vendor relationships

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a diverse team-oriented environment

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond VA: $74200 - $84700 for Associate Supply Chain

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
