CompuNetis looking foranAssociate Project Managerto direct the successful delivery ofCybersecurityprojects ensuring work aligns with customer expectations project goals andCompuNetsstandards.
As an Associate Project Manager you will work with a diverse set of stakeholders - including internal teams and external partners - while owning the key responsibilities of project kick off and closeout project supervision proactive communication fulfillment of project milestones and financial tracking. The ideal candidate is organized customer-focused and skilled at balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TheAssociate Project ManagerforCybersecuritywill report to theSenior Managerof Project Management and work closely withSalesEngineeringService PortfolioPartner EnablementandOperationsrolestoensurethesuccessful delivery ofprojects. As demand for this role increasesopportunitiesforgrowth may includea promotion to Project Manageror expansion into otherspecializationsto meetcustomer demand.
Project Coordination
- Demonstratestrongorganizationalskillsby effectivelycoordinatingandmonitoringmultipleprojects acrossa diverse set ofcustomers industriesand geographies.
- Complete recurring project coordination activities includingthe abilityto:
- Scheduleinternalandcustomer-facingproject kickoff meetings.
- Trackprojectscopebudgetforecastedand confirmedschedules andthestatus ofdeliverables(or outcomes)against a Statement or Work (SOW) or written contract.
- Maintain steady communication flowsandcollaboratewithCompuNetteams and customers to ensure projects stay on track.
- Communication flowsmay includeparticipationin status meetingsthe development ofmeeting summaries orwrittenstatus reportsproactively communicatingrisksetc.
- Update project records (data fields) in ConnectWise as projects progress.
- Reconcileandinitiatecustomerinvoicesfor fullorprogressbillingthroughout the engagement. Close projectphasesin ConnectWiseasappropriate.
- Managecustomer-requestedchanges toaprojectsscopefacilitatingcompletion ofchange ordersasappropriate.
- Monitor customerssatisfaction. Escalateanyissues orearly warning signs of dissatisfactionto the Account Executiveand Service Delivery.
- Ensure predictable consistent and high-quality project deliveryin accordance withindustry best practices.
- Proactively engage withService Deliveryfor each region and their respective markets providinghigh level updates on projectprogresstimelineand issuesimpactingproject health.
- Collaborate with theCybersecurityProgram Lead on complex projects helping extend portfolio capacity whilemaintainingconsistent coordination communication and delivery standards.
Contract Administration & Quality Control
- Track agreements throughout theescalationprocess engageCybersecurityandRegional Leadership teamsto ensuretimelyresolutionand delivery.
- Ensure customer access to the document repository of in-progress and final deliverables.
- Facilitateaprocessthatconfirmsthecustomersacceptanceofanyfinal deliverablesor outcomes.
- Prior toeachprojectclosing audit the SOWandanysupplementaryagreementsorchange orders to ensure all deliverableshave been received accepted by customerand performance bymembers of the project teamfalls within defined parameters.
- Conduct post-project reviews andlessons learnedsessions to capture insights and improve project delivery processes.
Travel Expectations
- Occasional travel may berequiredtovisit project sites orCompuNetoffices.
Education& Experience
MinimumQualifications
- Bachelors degree ina business-related field information technologyor 4 years of work experience.
- Minimum of2years proven experience as aProject CoordinatorAssociateProjectManageror similar rolefocused on customer serviceandthe facilitation of customer outcomes.
- Experience with contract administration invoicing and general accounting practices (AP/AR).
- Preferred Experience
- CertifiedAssociateinProject Management(CAPM)or equivalent project management certification.
- Career experiencetracking andmanagingprojectswith a duration of 3 to 12 months.
- Career experienceworking with information technologyroles andteams.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices including the ability toenforce contracttermsandadherence toservice level agreements.
- Career experience in a position withdetailed time accounting andbillableutilizationrequirements.

- Cybersecurity & Risk Awarenessdemonstratesa working understanding of cybersecurity terminology frameworks products processes services and solutions with exposure to risk management and risk mitigation practices.
