Job Summary
The Associate Member is to be appointed by joint session of the Select Board and the Planning Board with each member of either Board having one vote for a term of three years. The Chair of the Planning Board may designate a duly appointed Associate Member to sit on the Board for the purposes of acting on a special permit application or in such other matters under Planning Board jurisdiction as may be authorized by law in the case of absence inability to act or conflict of interest on the part of any member of the Planning Board or in the event of a vacancy on the Board.
