Job Summary
WHAT DOES AN ASSOCIATE PLANNER MEDIA DO
The Associate Media Planner is an integral part of the Media department which consists of all paid media. Their primary role is to understand the people process and technologies available within the media department and the agency and how to support learn and participate in the media planning process.
Manage & coordinate vendor meetings and begin to become familiar with offerings and services
Actively listen and learn in meetings and begin to ask questions when comfortable
Efficient in media research tools (Comscore Kantar MRI) after being trained
Compile research data and assist in populating monthly competitive analysis slides when needed for the planner to provide insights
Assist in RFP process evaluation of proposals alongside the media planner and begin to connect the dots
Manage the campaign authorizations and collection of NDAs and W9s work with the Media Planner on the creation of insertion orders and manage the counter signing process with vendors
Prioritize/manage multiple projects
Help coordinate the online creative trafficking process with the Advertising Ops Team with the creation of Traffic Sheets
Become familiar with the optimization process and begin to learn to pull reports

Qualifications :
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Bachelors degree required
0-2 years of experience in media planning and buying digital media
Detail-oriented with strong math aptitude
Presentation skills
Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
Strong project management organization prioritization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint Excel and Word
