Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves performing basic operational tasks under supervision maintaining a clean and safe workspace and adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic teamwork and a willingness to learn and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform basic job functions under the supervision of a qualified operator
Operate within assigned work areas and assist in routine production activities
Clean maintain and organize tools equipment and workspaces
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately
Perform basic machine adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
Demonstrate basic math communication and problem-solving skills
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
Support team goals and assist peers when needed
Adhere to Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) policies
Manage time effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor machine adjustments
Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP SOPs audits etc.)
Basic computer skills (MS Word email internet use)
Strong communication skills (reading writing and teamwork)
Dependable proactive and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP systems
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Key Working Relationships
Internal: Maintenance Engineering Quality Teams
External: Suppliers and Vendors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing laboratory or warehouse setting
Exposure to potentially hazardous materials including chemicals and biological substances
Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods (up to 75% of the time)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work extended or non-standard hours based on production needs
