Retail Team Member

Job Summary:As a Retail Team Member for the AZA Airport Panera Bread you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our business and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will work alongside our management and (retail) cashiers to maintain a clean and organized environment. You are expected to manage inventory by supervising processes like transactions measurement of inventory and stocking of inventory. It is important that you handle customer inquiries and complaints with an understanding attitude and consider each situation with the same level of value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly.

• Share and promote product or menu item information as needed.

• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.

• Provide excellent customer service process orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Craft and serve a variety of coffee drinks and specialty beverages according to customer preferences.

• Operate coffee equipment maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and stay updated on drink recipes and trends.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.

• Handle difficult situations with professionalism and respect.

• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies.

• Work alongside other employees to generate an outstanding customer experience while maintaining a positive environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Cash handling experience or ability to learn quickly.

• Basic knowledge of POS systems and registers.

• Flexibility and adaptability to various work conditions.

• Ability to read and process complex information.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable transportation and ability to be punctual.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Work some weekends evenings and holidays.

Additional Expectations:

• Performs other duties as assigned/required

• Avoid any behavior or remarks that could damage the reputation of colleagues the airport or Tailwind Concessions

• Follow safety policies and procedures including proper lifting techniques and use of safety gear to prevent injuries

Activity Requirements:

1. Physical Effort:

• Normal physical mobility and agility (reach above the head bend or stoop)

• Normal physical strength to handle 50 pound objects taking frequency into consideration

• Normal ability to stand for various durations of time

• Normal dexterity of hands and fingers for handling money food other products etc.

• Normal coordination including eye-hand hand-foot/perform repetitive motions while maintaining good balance and coordination

• Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding grasping turning and pulling

3. Work Environment:

• Fast paced during peak hours

• Close interaction with customers
