Associate, Material Management

Job Description:

This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position. This position will support the facilities parts/ materials warehouse while managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a warehouse environment. Candidates must possess attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for a candidate who will support personnel across multiple shifts as well as multi-level management. Candidates will work independently and as a group/team sourcing parts ordering materials and helping to maintain min/max levels.

Essential Functions:

• Work with Logistics team including Warehousing Receiving & Shipping.

• Work within a production environment including material handling.

• Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.

• Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.

• Monitor of receipts issues and stock movements within the warehouse external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.

• Ability to climb stairs ladders bend stoop and lift 32 pounds.

Qualifications:

• To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a bachelors degree in supply chain management Logistics Management Business Administration or related field or have completed their bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
