Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Cybersecurity Engineering with a focus on the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Process. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience with the RMF process used throughout the DoD. Key Responsibilities:

• Support Cybersecurity Requirements: Collaborate with ISSEs to identify protection needs for systems software and networks. Document security controls/requirements for inclusion in the system requirements specifications.
• Support Cybersecurity Design: Assist system engineers in overarching system design with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Support Creation of Cybersecurity Body of Evidence: Create and review System Security Plans (SSPs) System/Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Network and Dataflow Drawings.
• Support Cybersecurity Verification/Test: Verify security control implementation through development and execution of Cybersecurity Test Plans/Procedures and use of System Scanning Tools.

Qualifications:

• To be eligible applicants must be pursuinga Bachelors degree program in engineering or Information Technology or related field or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
