Associate, Information Security Systems Engineer

Job Description:

• Provide guidance and oversight in assessing security infrastructure and network and systems design to ensure system/network security

• Identifysecurity risks threats and vulnerabilities of networks systemsapplicationsandnew technologyinitiatives

• Provide oversightinthe development testing and operation of firewalls intrusion detection systems enterprise anti-virussystemsand software deployment tools

• Develop policies and procedures for securing the system infrastructure and applications

• Develop complex technical and programmatic assessments evaluate engineering and integrationinitiativesand provide technical support to assess security policiesstandardsand guidelines

• Perform product evaluations recommend and implement products/services for network security

• Interact with clients and provide recommendations on information assurance engineering standards implementationdependenciesand changing information assurance related technologies

Qualifications:

• To be eligible applicants mustbe pursuingaBachelorsdegreein ComputerScience Computer EngineeringInformation Technology/Computer Information Systems with Network Focus or Communications Focus ElectricalEngineeringor related fieldor have completed theirBachelorsdegree within the last 12monthsregardlessof age.

Preferred Skills:

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security infrastructure (Firewalls IDS/IPS IPSec VPNs)

• Knowledge of Computer/System Security topics such as Antivirus Authentication Authorization Access Control Cryptography SSO Business Continuity Planning and Application Security

PAY TRANSPARENCY:In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state Cleveland Ohio and Vermont is $62000- $115000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
