A Day in the Life

The Production Associate III/Tracks position is responsible for moving edible oil from railcars/trucks to storage tanks. Individual should have a working knowledge of production/rail equipment and safety requirements in a production/manufacturing/rail environment.

Position Details:

Shift: Monday Friday 3rd shift (11p-7:30a) with occasional overtime and alternate shifts as needed

Training: There is a training period prior to moving to regular shift which is primarily day shift

Hourly pay rate: $26.66

What Youll Be Doing:

• Verify tank car or truck load numbers to ensure car placement accuracy
• Sample trucks and railcars for lab analysis
• Operate railroad tank car or truck unloading equipment including pumps hoses and steam lines
• Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks coordinating activities with other workers
• Coordinate rail switch with the railroad
• Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped gauge readings and operating times manually or using computers
• Additional duties as requested or assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and understand English with good verbal communication
• Must be a team player collaborative and results oriented with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work outside regardless of weather conditions
