This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improvingquality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Associate II Electromechanical Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks related to electro-mechanical systems including troubleshooting testing and assembling assemblies as well as installing calibrating and repairing this role a typical day will include:
- Handle complex tasks related to the design development implementation operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot test and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies
- Assist in reworking repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
- Install calibrate test repair and upgrade equipment and systems including components of devices control equipment operation panels and facility infrastructure
- Assist engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems
- Inspect and maintain equipment using tools and diagnostic software
- Use computer-aided-design software to model proposed systems to assess safety and reliability
- Make strategic decisions within your project area driving project performance and technological innovation
- Stay current with advances in electromechanical systems
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control
- Complete all required training
- Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
- Commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 8 yrs; Assoc.4 yrs; MS)
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
- Location: Onsite-Johns Creek Georgia
- Schedule: 12 hour Night Shift
- Travel Requirements: N/A
