SUMMARY

The Associate Director Treasury Operations is responsible for leading daytoday global cash management banking operations foreign exchange and treasury control activities. This role ensures adequate liquidity efficient use of cash effective management of bank relationships and compliance with corporate Delegation of Authority (DOA) and treasury policies across Westlake. The position partners closely with Finance Accounting Tax Legal and business units to support funding risk management and capital markets activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily cash positioning including cash concentration funding and investing in accordance with approved guidelines and DOA.
  • Owns shortterm 13 week cash flow forecasting processes and ensure alignment with FP&A Accounting and business units.
  • Optimize use of bank credit lines including revolver draws/repayments and debt service execution within delegated authority.
  • Monitor global cash balances and support strategies to repatriate or redeploy cash efficiently in coordination with Tax and Treasury leadership.
  • Own and continuously improve core treasury processes (cash management payments intercompany funding bank fee analysis etc.).
  • Partner with FP&A Accounting Tax Legal and Corporate Credit to align treasury operations with broader capital structure working capital and risk management strategies
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of treasury transactions in the general ledger and sub systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related) and/or professional designation (CTP CFA CPA) preferred.
  • 810 years of progressive experience in treasury corporate finance or banking; experience in a multinational industrial chemicals or manufacturing environment preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the role is primarily based in an office setting (e.g. Westlake Corporate offices in Houston56). Some travel may be required for investor conferences roadshows plant/site tours with investors and internal meetings. Travel is typically up to 1525% including domestic and international air and automobile travel.
