With current locations in Northbrook and Chicago we are excited to be opening our third facility in Oak Brook IL. At this state of the art facility we will continue to further our mission of setting the standard of excellence within the PHP/IOP space.
As we build out our Oak Brook programs we are seeking an Associate Director to join our OCD and Complex Anxiety Program. This program is dedicated to patients seeking treatment for OCD illness anxiety panic disorder social anxiety and other anxiety disorders.
Note that this role will ultimately be based in Oak Brook but will be training in Chicago/Northbrook from mid-June until early-August when the Oak Brook facility officially opens. Interviews will be taking place throughout the spring.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist Program Director in overseeing quality of care in the OCD & Complex Anxiety program
- Provide group and individual therapy
- Development and implementation of program material and curriculum
- Communicate with patients family members or support system as needed
- Coordinate care with patients outside providers to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate with patients home school
- Create individualized weekly schedules for each patient based on need
- Conduct and document intakes of new patients to the program
- Field calls regarding possible intakes and collaborate with front office staff on scheduling intakes
- Assess patients progress and need for higher level of care or discharge
- Chart progress of patients appropriately
- Provide information about program to potential referral sources
- Provide clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure as approved by Program Director
- Manage staff working within program
- Ensure that all adolescent program activities are aligned with Compass values and mission statement
- Participate in professional development activities
- Oversee initial and continuing insurance needs of patients through frequent communication with Utilization Review Team
- Actively engage in adolescent program development and expansion
- Participate in interviews with Program Director as needed
- Meet with Program Director on a regular basis for supervision/consultation
Qualifications (necessary skills and experience required):
- Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or Masters level clinician with clinical experience conducting intakes assessments individual family and group therapy for patients struggling with OCD and other forms of anxiety
- Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
- Experience with patients in crisis
- Program development and implementation experience
- Experience supervising therapists both licensed and seeking licensure
- Excellent time management skills ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment
