Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Qualifications:

  • Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC or CPMA preferred)
  • Experience in medical coding or a related role
  • Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and coding systems (ICD-10 CPT and HCPCS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Coding Specialist to join the Arcare this role you will be responsible for assigning the correct codes to describe healthcare services procedures and diagnoses to ensure accuracy during the medical billing process. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records applying appropriate codes and conducting coding reviews to maintain compliance with national standards and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail a solid understanding of coding systems and the ability to work independently while supporting the goals of the clinical team.
