We seek Associate Chemist candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Chemistry (Chemist) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Chemistry (Chemist) Solutions and Services Position; however ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Associate Chemist ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Chemistry (Chemist) Solutions and Services aligned with the Chemistry (Chemist) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. 

This role focusses on Human Capital Project Management Engineering Environmental Compliance Risk Management IT Effectiveness Business Process Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion LLC (SRMC) SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contractDEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken South Carolina and across the Southeast South Atlantic CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).

Provide Chemistry (Chemist) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports chemical analysis activities through planning analysis coordination documentation compliance quality assurance and stakeholder support..  Deliver reliable analytical results by strengthening methods instruments procedures data quality and laboratory performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Associate Chemist Chemistry (Chemist) L00351

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training obey safety rules and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

•   Takes required safety and technical trainings necessary to work in assigned laboratory.
•   Follows analytical methods plans and conducts lab tests in assigned area per laboratory administrative procedures.
•   Validates and verifies analytical methods in assigned analytical area per laboratory administrative procedures.
•  Performs installation (with vendor when necessary) maintenance troubleshooting of the assigned instrument software and laboratory facilities.
•  Writes technical procedures in accordance with validated analytical methods.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in chemistry or related science from an accredited college or university
• The use of protective clothing and respiratory equipment is required when working in a radioactive environment.
