Job Summary

This role supports an internal cost management system working alongside project managers to set up new projects update project financials mid-project close out projects and assist with various financial questions or updates required during execution. A cost or financial background is ideal and knowledge of company financial basics including sales revenue income profitability and labor multipliers is preferred. The selected candidate will be trained and on-boarded to the clients internal financial system called Ecosys a process that will take several months after which they will work independently with project management staff for project updates. The role is a fully in-office position for 40 hours per week in a corporate environment requiring professional dress and a standard 85 schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with project managers to set up new projects in the internal cost management system
  • Update project financials mid-project as needed
  • Close out projects in the system
  • Assist with various financial questions or updates required during project execution
  • Learn and operate the clients internal financial system Ecosys following a training and on-boarding period of several months
  • Work independently with project management staff for project updates after on-boarding is complete
  • Communicate clearly and effectively using excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-start learn independently take on challenges and dig into the system to identify issues
  • Work collaboratively with a large group of diverse staff
  • Dress professionally and adhere to a standard 85 schedule in a corporate environment
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required from time to time

Education Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in business accounting communications construction management or a related field; OR
  • Associate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
Required Experience
  • Experience in a cost or financial background is ideal
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience (if Associate Degree holder) OR minimum 4 years of related experience (if High School Diploma/GED holder)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Fully in-office position no remote no hybrid
  • Must be able to report onsite daily in Centennial CO
  • Candidates should ensure they are fully committed to maintaining the required commute long term
  • Professional dress code required
  • Standard 85 schedule; eligible for flex 9/80
