Assistant Project Manager

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be based in Tampa Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project or a portion of a large size and scope project following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
• Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices instructions or previous training. 
• Interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
• Assists with and monitors change orders and other construction documentation.
• Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract. 
• Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.
• May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers enforces company and project policies.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in Engineering Construction Management or relevant curriculum 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience from a larger GC is preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
• OSHA 10 30.
• The ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with building envelope trades and other relevant subcontractors.
• Experience with Procore Bluebeam or other relevant construction management software.
• Exposure to project scheduling.
