You are eager to learn all aspects of project management from reviewing plans and specifications to managing change orders project schedules budgets and project closeout activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

In the first 30 days and ongoing:

  • Learn Eleven Western Builders processes procedures software platforms and project management standards.
  • Assist Project Managers with project documentation RFIs submittals change orders and project tracking.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with field and office teams.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Build positive working relationships with Project Managers Superintendents subcontractors vendors and internal teams.

By the 90-day mark and ongoing:

  • Support the coordination of subcontractors suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist in managing project schedules budgets and cost tracking.
  • Help review and process subcontractor billings change requests and project invoices.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays or issues.
  • Assist with maintaining project logs and documentation.

Within the 6th to 9th-month mark and ongoing:

  • Take a more active role in managing project activities and technical coordination.
  • Review and process RFIs submittals change orders and related documentation with limited oversight.
  • Support quality control efforts and help ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with design professionals subcontractors and field personnel to resolve project challenges.

By the 12th month mark and ongoing:

  • Serve as a key support resource to the Project Management team on multiple projects.
  • Independently manage assigned project responsibilities while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery through proactive communication organization and problem-solving.
  • Assist with project closeout activities and final documentation requirements.

EDUCATION SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 1-3 years of construction industry experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil architectural structural and mechanical plans.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project coordination.
  • Experience with RFIs submittals change orders and project documentation preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
