Job Summary

Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Animal Behavior in the Department of Psychology and the Program in Biological Foundations of Behavior beginning August 2027. Appointment is for nine months per year (August - May). The rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor depending on qualifications.



Applicants should possess or be nearing completion of a doctorate degree in Psychology Biology Anthropology Animal Sciences or another relevant discipline. We are interested in candidates who can teach Animal Behavior with Lab relevant upper-level research and seminar courses research design and statistics and courses that contribute to the Colleges general education program. The teaching load is 3/2. Faculty maintain active research programs and contribute to the Colleges shared governance.
