Primary duties will includeteaching assigned courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders program; evaluating students progress in coursework; completing the administrative aspects of assigned courses; supervising field-based students or student internship when needed; demonstrating scholarly productivity through publications in referred journals and attendance at professional conferences and meetings; and assisting in the development of a Masters program. Duties also includeproviding service to the department college and university. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold adoctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from a regionally accredited institution. ABDs will also be considered but must have earned a doctorate before appointment. Candidates must demonstrate potential for teaching peer-reviewed scholarship external funding and supporting first-generation students and hold or be eligible for Texas SLP licensure and/or ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
