Job Description:

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems and Business Analytics with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at the rank of Assistant Professor. We welcome candidates prepared to teach courses in artificial intelligence and related areas and whose research addresses any area of information systems. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hiring decisions are subject to final budget include:

  • Publishing scholarly research in high-quality academic journals
  • Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Providing service to the department college and university
Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution completed by the start date
  • Strong evidence of potential for publication in high-quality journals
  • Evidence of quality instruction or strong potential for teaching excellence
  • Collegiality and excellent communication skills
