Assistant Professor in Exercise & Sport Science

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Exercise and Sport Science or related field Knowledge and expertise and ability to teach courses in the following areas: exercise physiology exercise testing and prescription strength and conditioning introduction to exercise and sport science exercise and sport science capstone. Prior experience developing and teaching labs in exercise physiology exercise testing and prescription and strength and conditioning

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral or terminal professional degree in Exercise and Sport Science or related field Experience advising undergraduate students and helping them to plan and prepare for graduate programs in the health sciences. Prior training and mentorship in research and some scholarly expertise allowing for the development of a successful line of scholarship. Experience using community-engaged learning practices in teaching. Expertise in some area of womens health Scholarship and teaching philosophy align with our universitys social justice women-centered mission
