Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking an Assistant Principal who is a compassionate instructional leader values collaboration and is committed to strengthening our school community. - Partner with the High School Principal to foster a positive student-centered school culture.
- Support teachers through classroom observations coaching and meaningful instructional feedback.
- Promote high expectations for student achievement behavior attendance and engagement using restorative practices whenever appropriate.
- Use academic attendance behavior and other data to guide decisions and improve student outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with students families faculty and community partners.
- Support school programs by attending student events performances and athletics.
- Ensure consistent implementation of school policies procedures and state requirements.
- Collaborate with counselors special education staff instructional coaches and teachers to support every students success.
- Contribute to the continued growth of LVAs International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and learner-centered culture.
- Leads with empathy while maintaining high expectations.
- Is highly organized detail-oriented and follows through on commitments.
- Approaches challenges thoughtfully remains calm under pressure and communicates with professionalism.
- Values collaboration and seeks input from others while making sound decisions.
- Uses evidence rather than assumptions to solve problems.
- Reflects on their own leadership and continuously strives to improve.
- Believes every student deserves access to rigorous engaging learning experiences.
- Pennsylvania Principal (PK12) Certification required.
- Masters degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
- Successful teaching experience required.
- Building-level education experience preferred.
- Knowledge of curriculum instruction assessment and school operations.
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate Programme is preferred but not required.
