Assistant Operator 3

To work within a team to assist under supervision with the preparation and running of equipment offshore ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to client.

1. Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual.

2. Provides support with flaring pigging separation filtering heaters instrumentation nitrogen and other related services.

3. Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expros policies standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.

4. Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required.

5. May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation and return of equipment.

6. Liaise with clients representatives when required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.

7. Liaise with Supervisor team members and operations department to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties maintaining regular effective communication to achieve safe operations and task completion.

8. Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures processes and specific clients requirements.

9. Actively work with subordinates to share knowledge to assist with their competency progression when required.

10. Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.

11. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with company policies procedures and processes including but not limited to the Code of Conduct Anti-Bribery and Quality Health Safety & Environmental policies and ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to libaility or risk to Expros reputation is minimized. If necessary report possible violations or conflicts of interest.

13. Promote QHSE awareness take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of QHSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 12 Safety House Rules.

14. Other duties as assigned to support the operation.

1. On call 24/7 except for approved time off days. Must be able to work day or night shift depending on project needs.

2. Clean driving record. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is a plus. May obtain company-sponsored after employment.

3. Intermittent travel within the U.S. required. Opportunities for international travel may arise.

4. Pipeline/Well Test: Separation Filtration and Flaring experience is a plus.

5. Must pass pre-employment criminal background check hair and urine drug and alcohol test pre-employment physical and mechanical aptitude test.

6. 1 years technical experience preferred within relevant field.

7. Ability to meet physical demands of job position.

8. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly stand use hands and fingers handle or feel reach with hands and arms talk hear and smell.
Requires occasional climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching and exertion of force up to 43 lbs.
Ability to see objects close afar and use peripheral vision is required.
Ability to hear and take verbal direction over loud ambient noises is imperative for the safe execution of job duties. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noises.
Works outdoors: regularly subject to cold warm wet or humid conditions resulting from weather or other various conditions.
Regularly work in high precarious places or near fumes / air borne particles.
