We have over 400 employees which makes us big enough to take on large customers but small enough to offer personalized services to smaller clients. American establishes security programs for their clients that are designed to protect their personnel and assets. We integrate our trained officers and technology which allows us to effectively execute our security programs.

About the Position

American Security is seeking a motivated organized and detail oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support the day to day management of our security operations. This position plays a critical role in recruiting staffing employee relations scheduling and ensuring our officers and clients receive exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast paced environment can effectively manage multiple priorities and is committed to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified security professionals through various recruiting platforms and marketing initiatives.
• Create and manage job advertisements.
• Interview evaluate and hire qualified candidates.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding orientation and training.
• Develop and maintain employee work schedules while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
• Ensure employees remain compliant with licensing certifications and company requirements.
• Oversee employee performance provide coaching and corrective action and administer progressive discipline as needed.
• Maintain and update office procedures operational manuals and company documentation.
• Assist with field visits employee evaluations and quality assurance inspections.
• Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
