Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager at our Madison airport location you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations supporting staff development and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Under the direction of the Airport Manager you will help foster a positive team environment while coaching and mentoring employees to enhance their sales and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the airport location.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Motivate coach and develop staff to excel in sales and customer service.
• Assist in hiring training evaluating and scheduling employees.
• Report all aspects of productivity to the Airport Manager.
• Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner handling inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience while promoting additional products and services.
• Work a flexible schedule including mid-shifts evenings and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Total earning potential: $60000 - $70000 per year. This will include an hourly base rate plus uncapped incentive bonuses for sales upgrades and additional services.

• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers co-workers and management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be physically able to assist customers at the rental counter including standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible schedules which may include evenings weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to effectively handle confidential information.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid state drivers license and good driving record.
