Job Summary

- You will provide administrative management and executive support to the Chief of Staff of the Commanding Officer and Technical Director of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport.
- You will evaluate execute and disseminate NSWC/NUWC HQ policies and developing Command administrative policies.
- You will coordinate and process travel conference attendance timekeeping facilities upgrades security access and IT issues.
- You will manage Command Department supplies procurement and inventory.
- You will manage the coordination of activities meetings schedules travel and deadlines while addressing concerns obtaining information and responding to inquiries.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD) the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
For the NG-05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NG-04 (GS-9/10 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating clerical administrative duties in support of leadership or executive assistance.
For the NG-04:
one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NG-03 (GS-7/8 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing clerical administrative duties in support of leadership or executive assistance.

The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the NG-04:
2 academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
