Overview:
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the daily operation of the Food & Beverage program at Fiddlers Creek Golf Club a premier private golf club in Naples Florida. This role combines operational leadership hospitality excellence team supervision member engagement and hands-on execution across club dining venues and events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across dining venues bar service member events private functions and social activities.
- Actively participate in service execution and member interaction during peak periods.
- Ensure timely opening shift transition and closing procedures.
- Monitor service flow and staffing levels.
- Assist with beverage inventory management receiving invoice verification and cost control initiatives.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise dining patio and guest-facing operations.
- Train and coach service staff on hospitality standards.
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH operations.
- Lead by example through active floor presence.
- Support onboarding training and staff development.
- Ensure food safety sanitation and workplace safety standards are maintained.
- Assist with scheduling labor tracking reporting and operational documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of progressive food and beverage or hospitality experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of front-of-house operations and inventory controls.
- Strong communication leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays evenings and special events.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing with a strong hospitality-focused vocabulary and professional communication skills.
