Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Editor Video - Creative Production is responsible for creating compelling video content for UDX and maintaining all AV library assets. Maintains the production-to-post-production pipeline to ensure projects move smoothly throughout the editorial process by creating dailies assisting with color sessions and utilizing best archival practices. Plays an active role in the curation of an ever-evolving library of video assets for the organization. Assists in production of commercials promos sizzle reels social ads short and long-form narrative content and more for broadcast online and in-park channels. Creates content that meets the consumer marketing goals for UDX domestic and international parks and products while maintaining the global brand standards of UDX and its license partners. Manages multiple projects concurrently. Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite most importantly Premiere and After Effects with a working knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains the Universal AV Asset Library from the camera to DAM process.
- Ensures captured assets move smoothly from the production to postproduction pipeline.
- Creates dailies.
- Assists with color prep and color sessions.
- Utilizes best archival practices.
- Delivers final assets to Brimworks team and internal video server.
- Creates compelling video components for broadcast on-line and in-park channels.
- Develops video tactics for marketing campaigns and social content series.
- Assists in proper management of the post-production pipeline from ingest to final delivery.
- Manages multiple assignments while maintaining quality.
- Teamwork/Collaboration
- Interacts with stakeholders strategists project managers and creative partners to develop creative concepts and executions.
- Strives to complete projects on time and budget.
- Maintains effective relationships with other team members and promotes a collaborative work environment throughout UO.
- Maintains Solid Understanding of UOR Core Business Brand Portfolio Brand Standards and Target Audiences
- Has a thorough understanding of the UDX brand and its products can anticipate legal and licensor concerns and is capable of ensuring a consistent adherence to UDX brand and legal standards.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree is preferred in Radio Television Media Production Communications or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of video content creation digital asset management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for creating high quality videos within allotted time and within budget.
- Responsible for adhering to schedules and budgets for video projects.
- Management of post-production files selects and creative video assets.
- Stays knowledgeable of current trends technologies and editing practices.
- Brings fresh ideas to the table and continues to push the boundaries of UDX video content.
