ASSISTANT DIRECTOR DATA STRATEGY & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE Campus Services and Stewardship to lead the development and execution of a centralized data strategyacross a large complex organization supporting MITs built environment; establish enterprise data standards including common definitions metrics and authoritative data sources and drive their adoption; design and deliver scalable data models dashboards and reporting solutions to support decision-making across finance operations and capital planning; partner with Finance Operations and Business Systems to translate complex needs into governed data products; represent CSS in Institute-wide data governance and ERP initiatives influencing system design data architecture and reporting frameworks; and serve as a strategic advisor to leadership to advance data-driven decision-making and operational effectiveness.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:Bachelors degree in a related field; aminimum of ten years of progressive experience in business intelligence analytics or data governance; experience leading BI strategy data governance frameworks and analytics initiatives; familiarity with financial and operational data structures; experience with ERP reporting and enterprise data warehouse environments; hands-on dashboard and data modeling experience (e.g. Tableau Power BI); strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills; and ability to operate effectively in complex matrixed environments.

This position has a hybrid schedule and will require at least 2 days on-site.
