Minimum Qualifications:Must have or be willing to obtain a California Food Handlers CardMust have current CPR/First Aid/AED certification at time of hire or immediately upon hireA valid Drivers LicenseAt least two years of experience in a schools food service program or similar work is desiredKnowledge of modern kitchen equipment storing food modern sanitation requirements and feeding large groups is idealAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to exercise care and consideration in observing sanitation requirements; ability to plan menus follow recipes to prepare tasty food and serve it in an appealing mannerAbility to judge the quantity required and prepare it with a minimum of waste
