Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller with deep Costpoint and GovCon expertise to support the Controller and oversee the accounting function. This role is ideal for a seniorlevel consultant with audit compliance and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support oversight of all accounting operations and close cycles
- Review financial statements journal entries and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP FAR CAS and DCAA standards
- Partner with the Controller on audits budgets and forecasting
- Improve accounting policies procedures and internal controls
- Act as subjectmatter expert for Deltek Costpoint and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
- 812 years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Deltek Costpoint proficiency required
- Strong GovCon background including audits and compliance
- Proven leadership and processimprovement experience
