About the Role
Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for a specific portion of a construction project. Significant areas of responsibility are safety compliance coordination of materials scheduling and proper handling of project materials.

Position Logistics
  • Work Location:Twin Cities MN
  • Work Environment: On-Site
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Work Type: Full Time
    Position Responsibilities
    • Develop and adjust project schedules coordinating across all trades and phases
    • Manage site logistics including access material storage deliveries and equipment
    • Supervise all on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with plans safety regulations and quality standards
    • Oversee subcontractor work and maintain site documentation including RFIs daily reports and safety records
    • Oversee procurement vendor management and material ordering
    • Oversee punch list completion and final project inspections
    • Lead project coordination meetings and facilitate issue resolution
    • Track and report on costs including labor and materials
    • Serve as the primary contact for project communication and stakeholder management
    • Manage the preparation of final as-builts and closeout documentation
    • Conduct safety orientations and training for site personnel
    • Attend all required safety trainings and meetings

    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related degree preferred
    • 4 years of experience in construction management or related occupation
    • Experience in construction layout plan and shop drawing readings
    • Microsoft Office Suite experience and construction management software programs
    • Valid Drivers license
