The Boeing Company is seeking an Assistant Chief Pilot Production Manager to join our team in Seattle Washington.


This position will be a first line Manager with direct hires that will oversee production and flight operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operates aircraft and manages test pilots performing aircrew duties including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft
  • Performs and manages activities to plan conduct and evaluate ground and test flights
  • Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts. Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Manages develops trains and evaluates test pilots

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher
  • Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Experience with Project Management or similar activity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Skilled in advising and influencing managers or non-management employees to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
  • Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects
  • Develops and administers budgets schedules and performance standards
  • Manages large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees (typically at the professional level)

Shift:

This position is primarily for 1st shift; however alternate and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet support program objectives.

Travel:

This position will require travel up to 25%.

All pilots will be screened through the current pilot records database process.

Summary pay range: $31620 - $427800


Entry into this classification is limited to candidates approved by the enterprise-wide Flight Operations Skills Team. Appropriate regulatory certification and/or license required.
