Assets Management Associate

Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for an Asset Management Specialist to join our team on the DOL ITOM program. The primary responsibility for this job is the management of and reporting on client IT assets. This position requires strong communication skills. The person in this position will be meeting with stakeholders interfacing customers as well as collaborating with the asset management team service desk as well as other operations role requires individuals who are highly self-motivated utilize effective communication skills and can quickly solve problems.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that asset records are kept current in ServiceNow throughout an assets lifecycle.
• Updating tickets in ServiceNow
• Managing request tickets
• Unboxing Boxing Shipping if IT equipment.
• Interact with hardware vendors
• Responsible for picking up distributing as well as preparing equipment for disposal.
• Processing inventory within the building may use scanning tools
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 0 years experience or high school diploma/GED with 4 years experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to lift (25lbs) of IT equipment laptops/desktops/monitors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of IT Asset Management
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM Tools
• Experience in customer service
