Job Title: Asset Protection AgentSalary Range: $22.31 - 27.88Location: North - Shoreline Lynnwood South Everett*You will work across the 3 sites listed with the primary work site based on the location that is most convenient to your geographic the PositionThe Asset Protection Agent supports Evergreen Goodwills loss prevention security safety and asset protection efforts across assigned locations. Working under the direction of the Area Asset Protection Manager the Asset Protection Agent actively seeks to prevent the loss of organizational assets resulting from internal and external position conducts surveillance and investigations identifies and addresses theft and fraud concerns performs safety and operational compliance audits assists with physical security initiatives and prepares timely documentation of incidents and findings. The Asset Protection Agent serves as a field-based resource supporting safe operations asset protection programs and loss reduction strategies across Evergreen Goodwill Functions and ResponsibilitiesAsset Protection & InvestigationsConduct surveillance and investigative activities to identify deter and address internal and external theft fraud and asset protection CCTV systems sales floor observations reporting tools and other approved methods to identify loss trends and suspicious incidents involving theft fraud policy violations vandalism and security timely detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents investigations observations and Asset Protection leadership with identifying root causes of shrink and operational communicate significant incidents and findings to Asset Protection confidentiality while handling sensitive investigations and employee & ComplianceConduct and document operational compliance asset protection and safety audits in a timely workplace safety concerns operational vulnerabilities and compliance store and operational leadership in maintaining a safe and secure work compliance with company policies asset protection standards and safety hazards unsafe conditions accidents and near-miss incidents according to established Systems & Facility ProtectionPerform physical security inspections at assigned with monitoring maintenance coordination troubleshooting and operational support of CCTV intrusion alarm and access control appropriately to duress fire burglary and security-related alarms as Asset Protection leadership with security assessments and physical security improvement investigations involving security system alerts and facility-related & TrainingDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with employees management law enforcement and external strong verbal and written communication skills in all support for Asset Protection and safety awareness training with communicating Asset Protection best practices and operational as a liaison with local law enforcement and emergency responders when ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate sound judgment and professionalism while working independently or in team calm and effective during stressful or emergency required certifications training and professional established timelines for assigned work and safe work practices and contribute to a culture of workplace other duties as assigned in support of department objectives and organizational RequirementsTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This role requires reliable transportation to travel between work sites and/or perform job duties as and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent of two (2) years of Asset Protection Loss Prevention Security Investigations Retail Operations or related experience conducting surveillance theft investigations fraud investigations or loss prevention activities college coursework criminal justice education or advanced security training to work independently and as part of a Licenses or RegistrationsValid Washington State Drivers License with acceptable driving record preferredProof of current automobile insurance if electing to drive personal vehicle to/from work Prevention Qualified (LPQ) First Aid/CPR certification Criminal Justice education or similar professional credentials to obtain required certifications and training within established timeframes if required by the SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Teams).Ability to learn and utilize CCTV systems security technologies reporting systems and other applications related to the to maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly be required to stand and walk for extended periods communicate with others by talking and hearing climb stairs and ladders bend kneel crouch squat stoop and employee must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds and operate computers surveillance equipment and other technology vision abilities required include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception color recognition and the ability to adjust must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing including with individuals who may have limited English proficiency. The Asset Protection Agent may work independently while conducting surveillance investigations audits or facility evening weekend holiday early-morning closing-shift and overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
