Assembly Operator 2nd shift

We have an opportunity for a Assembly Operator to join our Hanover Park IL this role you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment assembling products used in Pentairs water filtration applications.

You will:

• Work from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional overtime throughout the week and/or on weekends/holidays as needed.
• Assemble product to be used in water filtration applications
• Learn and rotate through all tasks in a team environment
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees emphasizing prevention of hazardous conditions and support Pentairs safety programs by following all established safety processes

You should:

• Have basic math skills
• Have the ability to speak read and write basic English
• Be able to follow standard work procedures
• Be able to conduct audits for Quality 5S and Safety
• Have excellent attendance
• Be able to lift frequently 3-25 pounds and infrequently 25-50 pounds as well as regularly bend and reach
• Be able to stand for an entire eight hour shift and work with small parts on occasion
• Be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by work area such as safety glasses ear plugs hard hats gloves and steel toe shoes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Shift/Hours:

• 2nd shift: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

• OT required when needed

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $22.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills and experience.
