Assembler Shift 1 (#fde8)

You will assemble and test mechanical products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery targets working under direct supervision. You will contribute to lean initiatives and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on an onsite 1st shift schedule (MondayFriday 7:00 AM3:30 PM).

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools fixtures and inspection equipment
• Record test results and data using basic electrical equipment and flow meters
• Interpret blueprints engineering orders assembly routes test specs and quality directives
• Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance with product and customer specifications
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting and related finishing tasks
• Participate in lean initiatives by identifying areas for productivity and cost improvements
• Maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area and follow safety and calibration schedules

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience or similar production experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints
• Comfortable using torque wrenches calipers micrometers power and hand tools
• Experience performing precision measurements and documenting torque values
• Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 25 lbs
• Availability for an 8-hour day MondayFriday (1st shift); open to overtime or weekend shifts if needed

• Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments (ISO FAA-related processes)
• Exposure to LEAN manufacturing practices

$16.00 - $20.00/hour
