Job Summary
DPP is seeking an Assembler IIfor an opportunity with our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Madison AL
Work shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00AM-4:30PM
Duration: 3 months
Terms: W2 position
Work authorization: US Citizen

Responsibilities:
- The Assembler II will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules boards panels drawers frames and cables.
- Works from diagrams and drawings makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools jigs and saws.
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble modify rework reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Minimum of 2 years of related assembly experience.
- Experience with soldering (J-Standard certification preferred) surface mount (SMT) packages or wire harness construction.
- Ability to work from complex engineering drawings blueprints and or work instructions.
- Experience working with microscopes for precision assembly.
- Experience assembling and troubleshooting Radio Frequency (RF) and/or Communication Navigation and Identification (CNI) systems.
- Experience in rework and modifying dense SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards and prototype cables.
- Proficiency in using microscopes for assembling small mechanical parts.
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) such as SAP Solumina or Tableau.
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) FOD (Foreign Object Damage) and ITAR/AS9100 regulations.
