Assembler II

• The Assembler II will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules boards panels drawers frames and cables.
• Works from diagrams and drawings makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools jigs and saws.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble modify rework reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

• Minimum of 2 years of related assembly experience.
• Experience with soldering (J-Standard certification preferred) surface mount (SMT) packages or wire harness construction.
• Ability to work from complex engineering drawings blueprints and or work instructions.
• Experience working with microscopes for precision assembly.

• Experience assembling and troubleshooting Radio Frequency (RF) and/or Communication Navigation and Identification (CNI) systems.
• Experience in rework and modifying dense SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards and prototype cables.
• Proficiency in using microscopes for assembling small mechanical parts.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) such as SAP Solumina or Tableau.
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) FOD (Foreign Object Damage) and ITAR/AS9100 regulations.
