Responsible for assembling testing and completing ID card printer systems and subassemblies in a production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail the ability to follow standardized work instructions and a focus on quality and throughput. The Assembler II is expected to work independently on assigned builds perform basic troubleshooting and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Performing electro-mechanical assembly of ID card printers and subassemblies following detailed work instructions bills of material (BOM) and production travelers.
• Assembling mechanical and electrical components including frames harnesses motors print mechanisms and related hardware using standard hand and power tools.
• Completing product builds with a high level of accuracy ensuring proper fit alignment and configuration per specifications.
• Executing functional testing and basic troubleshooting to validate product performance and identify defects or build issues.
• Recording production data accurately including build status test results and quality checks.
• Identifying and escalating quality or material issues to support first-pass yield and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintaining a clean organized and safe workstation in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
• Collaborating with team members leads and support functions (quality engineering materials) to meet daily production targets.
• Supporting rework repair and process improvement activities as needed.

• Following work instructions and production travelers.
• Utilizing BOMs and configuration-driven assembly processes.
• Operating basic testing equipment.
• Demonstrating strong attention to detail and quality.
• Working comfortably with repetitive builds and product variation.

YourExperienceand Background include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Experience in high-mix / low to medium volume assembly environments preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures specifications international technical standards blueprints written instructions etc.
