Job Summary
Job Title: Medical Assembler
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Dexter MI 48130
Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical medical device components and subassemblies.
- Work with modules circuit boards panels frames cables and related assemblies.
- Follow diagrams schematics process instructions and visual work aids.
- Use hand tools power tools fixtures and assembly equipment.
- Perform continuity checks basic testing and quality inspections.
- Rework modify disassemble and reassemble products as required.
- Support prototype and experimental builds.
- Complete production documentation and records accurately.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturing and quality procedures.
- Assist with packaging inventory shipping receiving and material handling when needed.
Required Skills
- Assembly experience or strong aptitude for assembly work.
- Excellent hand dexterity and ability to work with small components.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Legible handwriting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
- Technical documentation or technical writing experience.
- Experience performing inspections and basic testing.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. No prior experience required.
