Job Summary

Job Title: Medical Assembler

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Location: Dexter MI 48130

Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical medical device components and subassemblies.
  • Work with modules circuit boards panels frames cables and related assemblies.
  • Follow diagrams schematics process instructions and visual work aids.
  • Use hand tools power tools fixtures and assembly equipment.
  • Perform continuity checks basic testing and quality inspections.
  • Rework modify disassemble and reassemble products as required.
  • Support prototype and experimental builds.
  • Complete production documentation and records accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturing and quality procedures.
  • Assist with packaging inventory shipping receiving and material handling when needed.

Required Skills

  • Assembly experience or strong aptitude for assembly work.
  • Excellent hand dexterity and ability to work with small components.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Legible handwriting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Medical device manufacturing experience.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Technical documentation or technical writing experience.
  • Experience performing inspections and basic testing.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. No prior experience required.
