Job Purpose

The Assembler Manufacturing - temp supports ROMTechs production operations by assembling subassemblies and components used in medical devices within a team-based manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are built in accordance with engineering specifications quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) contributing to safe compliant and efficient production processes that support ROMTechs business objectives and patient care solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties
  • Assemble subassemblies and components in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings
  • Read interpret and follow assembly instructions and documentation accurately
  • Use hand tools power tools and assembly equipment to complete builds
  • Position and align parts manually or with hoists fixtures or other aids
  • Interface with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) to log assembly transactions and track work
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area tools and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures GMP requirements and manufacturing protocols
  • Collaborate with inventory control quality assurance leads and supervisors as needed
  • Stand for extended periods and safely handle materials during full production shifts
Other Functions
  • Participate in training sessions and apply learned skills on the production floor
  • Assist with inventory handling or movement of materials using appropriate equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support operational and business needs


Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Abilities

Required:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and GMP standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Prior exposure to GMP-regulated environments
  • Experience working with lifting equipment or assembly aids

Work Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Experience working with manufacturing tools and machinery
  • Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated environments
  • ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred)
Education Requirements

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
