Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components subassemblies and finished equipment according to blueprints engineering drawings standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Install mechanical hydraulic pneumatic electrical and other system components as assigned.
  • Operate common hand tools power tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Verify parts and materials prior to assembly and report any non-conforming materials damaged components or drawing discrepancies to the Supervisor or Team Lead.
  • Complete in-process quality inspections throughout the assembly process and repair defects when identified.
  • Document quality concerns and production information accurately.
  • Follow standardized assembly procedures to ensure products are built correctly the first time and meet customer expectations.
  • Meet established daily weekly and monthly production TAKT times and shipping schedules.
  • Ensure subassemblies are completed and available to support production line requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve product quality efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while supporting all 5S initiatives.
  • Follow all company safety policies and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Notify leadership of equipment issues or maintenance concerns.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read measuring devices and follow written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 02 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently stand walk bend kneel and reach throughout the workday.
  • Must be physically able to safely lift carry and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate assembly tools and equipment.

Additional Job Information:

  • Typical Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
